Emissions reduction targets
4C Strategies have a long-term target of achieving Net Zero by 2050.
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have set an interim target of reducing our energy and travel emissions by 30% by 2030.
Carbon Reduction Projects
• Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed during 4C Strategies last financial year:
– Made a Net Zero pledge to achieving Net Zero by 2050.
– Allocated funds to carbon reduction initiatives
– Our shared office building is equipped with solar panels. This installation not only reduces our carbon footprint but also sets an example for sustainable building practices
– Introduced a policy that encourages employees to opt for public transportation over driving cars
• Planned Carbon Reduction Initiatives
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
– Obtain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification
– Assign a team member as the Sustainability Champion to drive eco-friendly initiatives, engage colleagues and track progress against our sustainability goals.
– Educate and engage employees on sustainability topics and initiatives through training and awareness campaigns
– Introduce an electric vehicles scheme for long term employees
– Where practical, select eco-friendly accommodations for on-site work
– Assess and minimise our digital footprint by optimising data usage and adopting sustainable digital practices.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standardGovernment emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting1 and uses the appropriate 2.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard3.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the Board of Directors.
