4C’s Typical Procurement Approach

Procurement Process – agree the most appropriate procurement route to for the required solution / service.
1

Requirements Definition – following consultation with the client, develop the requirements definition / outcome based or technical specifications.

2

Invitations to Tender (ITT) – turn the requirements definition and specifications in to the relevant ITT documentation – to fit with our client’s internal templates and tailored to the selected procurement route.

3
Selection Questionnaires – were required, we will develop these to streamline the procurement process Requests for Quotations / Pricing (RFQ/RFP) – can be used for more informal quotations, not through a framework or Find-A-Tender.
4

Evaluation Process – we support or lead this for our clients, usually wit the full review and scoring of tender responses.

5

Evaluation reports – to provide formal, auditable documentation of the process / decisions undertaken.

6

Debrief reports – for unsuccessful suppliers, we will support our clients during the de-brief stage.
